Who is Bo?
Bo Mugridge is a versatile professional in the entertainment industry, excelling as a DJ, MC, brand ambassador, media personality, and radio host. With years of experience across music, sport, and media, Bo has a natural gift for connecting with audiences in a bubbly, unique, and captivating way.
His journey began in the Melbourne nightlife and entertainment scene, where he quickly made a name for himself as a DJ throughout his late teens. From Billboard and Crown Casino to some of Victoria’s biggest event nights, Bo cut his teeth in venues that demanded high energy and flawless crowd connection. He also became the resident DJ for Melbourne United in the NBL, bringing beats to the big stage in front of thousands of fans.
Then, came radio...
Bo spent two years in Geelong with K Rock 95.5 and Bay 93.9, cutting his teeth in promotions and casual announcing before stepping into a six-month stint as Workday Announcer. That first taste of on-air work lit the fire in his belly to chase bigger opportunities. Always hungry to learn, Bo placed himself behind the scenes at Triple M SA and SAFM, absorbing knowledge from top-tier announcers, programmers, and talent, and building a network that continues to support his career growth.
He moved to Adelaide to study at the Australian Radio School, beginning placement at Fresh 92.7, before signing with ACE Radio’s Edge 102.5 in regional NSW, and later returning to Fresh 92.7 as a full-time Workday Host, a career highlight that cemented his on-air style. Today, Bo is exploring sports broadcasting with 1629 SEN SA, where his passion for AFL and SANFL comes alive for listeners.
